Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World Review: Our Suite Upgrade Experience

If you’re looking for a modern luxury hotel experience in Las Vegas without the center-strip price tag, Conrad at Resorts World might just be the perfect choice. During our recent Vegas trip, Vinny and I stayed at five properties—including Waldorf Astoria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Conrad, and Crockfords—and Conrad ended up surprising us with a very comfortable stay (plus a free upgrade!).

In this review, I’ll share our full experience: the room tour, restaurants, hotel amenities, and whether Conrad Las Vegas is worth booking.

Checking In & Our Upgrade Surprise

We arrived at Conrad around 3:30 p.m. after checking out of Bellagio. The lobby was calm, and since Vinny booked directly through Hilton’s Cyber Monday sale, our rate was only $130 a night (excluding taxes and resort fees)—a fantastic deal for Vegas.

Even better? We were upgraded from a Strip View Premium Room to a One-Bedroom Suite, completely free. Hilton Gold and Diamond members also get access to a separate priority check-in line, which is convenient if the lobby is busy.

Room Tour: One-Bedroom Suite

The suite felt modern, clean, and spacious—exactly what you’d expect from one of the newer properties on the Strip.

Powder Room

  • Mojave Ghost branded amenities (luxury touch)
  • Digital “Do Not Disturb” and lighting controls
  • Connecting room option available

Living Room

  • Large L-shaped sofa with a lounge-style setup
  • Floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Circus Circus
  • 55–60 inch flat-screen TV
  • Digital thermostat (goes as low as 64°F)
  • Mini bar & fridge: Nespresso machine, water bottles, sensored snacks, QR code pricing. Fun fact: Coke is $8. The fridge worked but wasn’t cold enough.

Bedroom

  • King bed with modern red accents
  • USB-A, USB-C, and wireless charging at the nightstand
  • Second TV (same size as in the living room)
  • Drapery and lighting controls right by the bed
  • Long bench seating by the window

Bathroom & Closet

  • His-and-hers sinks with Conair hair dryer
  • Cotton swabs, shaving kit, dental kit (a nice touch since not all Vegas hotels provide these)
  • Small but deep bathtub (cozy for one, tight for two)
  • Walk-in shower with waterfall and handheld heads
  • Plush robes and slippers (though we noticed Waldorf Astoria’s robes were softer)
  • Spacious closet with luggage storage, ironing board, and lighted vanity mirror

Overall, the suite felt fresh, functional, and very comfortable.

Hotel Amenities

Fitness Center

  • Open 5 a.m.–8 p.m.
  • High ceilings, modern equipment, heavy weights available
  • Complimentary fancy water bottles

Pool Complex

Resorts World features one of the largest elevated pool decks in Las Vegas, with:

  • 5 themed pool experiences
  • 9 separate pool areas
  • Cabanas for rent
  • An adults-only infinity pool (extra charge required)

Since we visited in the off-season, only select pools were open, but the design and space were impressive.

Dining at Conrad & Resorts World

Resorts World has endless dining options, from fine dining to the Famous Foods Street Eats food court. Since we didn’t book with Amex FHR or Marriott Stars, our credit was limited—just $25 per person per night.

The only outlet honoring the breakfast credit was Dog House Bar & Grill, a sports bar serving casual American food. We ordered a club sandwich with tater tots and a chili dog with fries.

  • Service was slow (many guests rush to use credits before checkout).
  • Food was surprisingly tasty, especially the chili dog—savory, well-balanced, and not too salty.
  • Yelp reviews tend to be harsh, but in our experience, the food quality was solid.

For dinner, we ventured next door to Park MGM’s Best Friend, a Korean-Mexican fusion spot by Roy Choi. This ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. Highly recommend booking a table here if you’re in Vegas.

Sleep Quality

We can’t emphasize this enough: the bed was amazing.
Firm yet plush, with pillows that didn’t collapse overnight. After staying at multiple Vegas hotels on this trip, this was one of the best sleeps we had.

Pros & Cons

👍 What We Loved

  • Spacious one-bedroom suite upgrade
  • Modern design and new property feel
  • Comfortable bed = great sleep quality
  • Resorts World has plenty of dining and entertainment options
  • Reasonable pricing compared to central Strip hotels

👎 What Could Improve

  • Location is far north of the main Strip (expect Uber/taxi rides)
  • Limited restaurants accept the Hilton food credit
  • Mini fridge wasn’t cold enough
  • Robes weren’t as plush as other luxury Vegas hotels

Final Thoughts: Is Conrad Las Vegas Worth It?

Yes—especially if you want a luxury Vegas stay at a more affordable price. While Conrad isn’t right in the center of the Strip, its connection to Resorts World makes it feel like its own mini-city, with pools, restaurants, and shops all in one place.

If you’re a Hilton member, the chances of an upgrade (like ours) make it even more appealing. For us, the suite upgrade and incredible sleep quality made it a property we’d happily return to.
